IPv6 is the shortened form for Internet Protocol Version 6. IPv6 is designed by the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) as the successor to IPv4. IPv6 seeks to solve various issues with the current implementation of IPv4 including shortage of addresses and adds features such as network auto-configuration and improvements to routing and security.

IPv6 Forum Pacific Islands is a Chapter of the global IPv6 Forum and provides leadership, education, information and resources on IPv6 to aid its adoption and deployment in the Pacific Islands.

APNIC 24/SANOG 10: 29 August to 7 September 2007, New Delhi, India
APNIC 24 is a 10-day event that brings together Internet and networking experts, government representatives, industry leaders, and other interested parties from around the Asia-Pacific region to network with colleagues, attend workshops and tutorials; and importantly, discuss policies.SANOG 10 will be hosted in conjuction with APNIC Members Meeting (APNIC 24) in New Delhi, India by the ISP Association of India. SANOG10/APNIC24 will be the largest such network operators gathering not only from South Asia, but also from the AP region and rest of the World.
